2382 - 20: Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (BS 7671: January 2008) (Update Course)
This two day course is intended for those who have gained a City & Guilds 2381qualification since the 2001 edition was issued. The course will address the specific changes in the requirements of BS7671 and is aimed at Electricians, Electrical Contractors, Domestic Installers as well as others who have a working knowledge of the wiring regulations.

2392: Certificate in Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification
This qualification has been developed in association with the electrical installation industry, and will satisfy the underpinning knowledge requirements for those involved in the initial verification of electrical installations.
The 2392 Certificate in Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification is aimed at practising electricians who have not carried out inspection and testing since qualifying or who require some update training before going on to achieve the 2391-10.

Previously known as the qualification 2391-01. If you want to inspect and test electrical installations, then this qualification is right for you. This qualification has been developed to satisfy the requirements for Proposed Qualified Supervisors (PQSs) for various scheme operatives.

If you need to be familiar with the Institution of Electrical Engineers Code of Practice for in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment then this qualification can help. There are two certificates: one for managers and one for those who carry out the testing.
